Fall 2021 Collection and What I’ll be watching

Fall is slowly coming into view and honestly It’s my favorite season, its when I get to wear jeans and my favorite Jumpers!

But enough with the outfits; we’re here to check out the Fall anime lineup! I’m curious as to how many of the items on my list I’ll really watch, wanna know what’s coming out from October December then head to AniChart

1. Kimetsu no Yaiba: Yuukaku-hen

Release Date: Unconfirmed

Need I say more than I will never miss the second season of Demon slayer!

Not much is known from the season 2 trailer but what we do know, the second season will be centered around the Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui and that this anime will take place just after the film.

2. JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken: Stone Ocean

Release Date: December 2021

JoJo: Stone Ocean Introduces the 21st century Jostar Jolyne Cujoh.

Jolyne is the only female “JoJo” to date, and the daughter of Jotaro Kujo. I strongly advise anyone interested in watching Stone Ocean to first watch JoJo’s Bizzare Adventures because there is a lot of backstory to this anime.

Watching this trailer made me remember why I love this anime in the first place, I’m looking forward to see what this Jostar does to amaze me.

3. Isekai Shoukudou 2

Release Date: October 2nd

Besides my favorite food show which is obviously Shokugeki no Soma, this comes in a close second, I remember watching the first season and falling in love with the light hearted anime I could watch once a week.

Each episode of this show introduced a different character to the Restaurant from another world and it was just so cute to see fantasy characters fall in love with Japanese Cuisine.

I wonder what type of food we will be introduced to this time?

4. Sankaku Mado no Sotogawa wa Yoru

Release Date: October 3rd

WHY IS THIS NOT A YAOI!!! (Rant over haha)

The minute I watched this trailer a while ago, I was drawn in, and it wasn’t because of the storyline or the hot characters but it was the dynamic between the Main characters and this wasn’t categorized as Yaoi (how is that possible).

Putting that aside, I’m really interested in what this anime will bring to the table this Fall.

5. Lupin the 3rd: Part VI

Release Date: October 10th

Lupin the dark horse of anime, It has been running since 1971!

Even longer than Detective Conan.

Tony Oliver is my Lupin voice, and I’m eager to see what Lupin has in store for us this time around. Part 5 was wonderful, and that’s why I’m looking forward to Part 6.

6. Blue Period

Release Date: September 25th

Blue Period is my dark horse this season, not much is known about Blue Period other than it will be releasing on Netflix in 2 days time.

Unfortunately if the first episode isn’t interesting enough I will be dropping it.

7. The way of the House Husband Part 2

Release Date: October 7th

When it comes to the Way of the House Husband, you may either love it or hate it; it demands a very certain taste when it comes to the animation, which is very much in the form of a comic book; reviews say different things by different people.

I absolutely adore this series, and while the fact that each episode is just 15 minutes long and there are only 5 episodes is upsetting, there is something about this anime that I just can’t get enough of.

(Maybe tatsu’s voice actor Kenjirou Tsuda πŸ˜‰ )

Anime Discussion: 5 Anime I’m currently watching

Art of Anime here!

As an otaku blogger, I write reviews about anime and manga.

If you’re new to my blog then welcome, and if you’re not thank you for your support and I will continue to do what I love best, writing about anime.

With that all out of the way.

These are the anime’s I’m currently watching at this moment in time πŸ˜€

1. Mairimashita! Iruma-kun 2nd Season

I am very conflicted about this show but I wont go into any details (Review coming for the first season very soon)

The first half of the first season I wasn’t too keen on but as we slowly moved into episode 6 and 7 it got real interesting to see the main character in such a different light, not sure where its trying to go but I have some theories.

I will continue to watch Iruma kun just for that one reason…

2. Isekai Maou to Shoukan Shoujo no Dorei Majutsu Ξ©

I watched the first season in dub, and then when season 2 was announced I was so frickin happy

As It can be considered an Isakai and fantasy, I love the inner turmoil of the main character, on the outside he has to be strong to be considered a demon lord from another world, but on the inside he is a timid Japanese male who never made his mark on the world and was a shut in who just liked to play games.

Also could be considered as a small harem but I find it the charm of this great show.

3. Tantei wa Mou, Shindeiru

The Detective is already dead. One of my favorite shows this summer.

As it nears its 6th episode this week, I find the plot quite fascinating and I love the humor of the main jaded character.

If you haven’t given this anime a chance yet, please do, it is a show mixed between the present and the past and I have a feeling, more episodes down the line its going to get even more interesting!

4. Boruto: Naruto Next Generations

Every Sunday is a joy watching this show, as the show comes into the final arc (Which I probably have a lot of theories about..)

Boruto Uzumaki is the son of Naruto and I hear on the internet that fans of the Top 3 anime Naruto hate this show, the fact is is nothing compared to the prequel show but In my opinion, I absoutley love this show!

The children are great and it’s actually quite nice to see that Boruto is nothing like his father in terms of power, he is his own person and I respect that so much.

5. Detective Conan

Now, everyone should know by now, If you’ve been reading my posts long enough, I am obsessed with Detective Conan, as of right now I have probably only watched 45% of the 1000th+ episodes it currently has, but I have scoured the internet for the the interesting cases, the important ones (that are directly to the heart of the plot) and the ones I found the most appealing.

Every Saturday since the 1000th episode came out, i have continued watching this series, as I am very interested in seeing what happens next because I have a small feeling (some shit is about to go down!)

And that is it folks! That’s for joining and maybe leave a comment bellow and give some recommendations of anime I could watch next!

Anime Discussion: The Sailor Guardian I relate to the most

The Latest sailor moon movie just came out and people are raving about it! I am not the biggest fan on the series but I cannot fault the beautiful work that went into it. Sailor Moon has been a big part of the anime community for many years and there have been some anime’s trying to follow the hype of this type of anime such as Tokyo mew mew and failed miserably which only had 52 episodes but is going for a re-boot sometime in the near future.

Tokyo mew Mew

(But honestly I love the music better in Tokyo mew mew than sailor moon)

While watching the latest Sailor moon movie, I asked myself, who am I most like?

well I am…

Sailor Mercury

Why do I think I relate to Miss Ami Mizuno the most? Well there are a few reasons.

I love learning. Unlike Ami I’m not the smartest person around but I love learning, even though I know about my career path now, doesn’t mean I knew when I was 16 and heading for college. I loved most subjects in school mostly English and History, I went to college and did several different things including arts and IT/programming, I am now 22 and I feel like I’m still learning a little by little, about politics, more about my country’s history and other country’s history’s, I am constantly learning and I love it.

I love reading! You can always find me with my nose stuck in a book or a manga, if you came to my home you would see the mountain of books I have bought over the years, my favorite authors are Cassandra Clare and Derek Landy.

I’m strategic not a fighter. I have been on this earth for a very long time and yes I have gotten myself in my fair share of disagreements with others but Instead of fighting like other women with pride do, I settle it by using strategies, especially when talking with a very angry customer, I have my ways of talking them down, even if it may be my fault to begin with!

I was a very shy person until I met a certain person or may I say certain people, At the age of 18 I moved away from my home town and moved down to south where I lived and worked at one of the biggest holiday camps in the UK, If it wasn’t for my leaders in my venue I’d still be the most awkwardest human beings ever, I would have never become comfortable in myself and now I can go into anything with a smile on my face, never feeling nervous ever again.

and that is it!

Comment bellow which sailor guardian you think you are!

Anime Discussion: LGBTQ Couples in Anime

In Anime you can pretty much get any crazy story if you look hard for it enough, Today I look at the LGBTQ couples that anime has offered us over the years.

Recently since I have had time to think about myself and what I identity as, I came to a conclusion and I think that is halfly because of the couples I resonate with.

Haruka and Michiru from Sailor Moon

If anyone knows anime, they will know of the Sailor moon Guardians, especially these two Solar System Sailor Guardians Haruka and Michiru.

Haruka identifies as both a man and a woman which is why this couple makes so much sense. Since Michiru and Haruka are one of the earliest examples of a lesbian couple in anime and manga, and Naoko Taekuchi has been upfront in her affirmation that the pair are a relationship, Sailor Moon did a lot to rock the boat with their romance.

Yuri and Victor from Yuri!! on ICE

A couple of years ago we got Yuri!! on ICE. I absoutley loved this series.

Yuri has been a major fan of Victor’s since he was a child, and his skating has profoundly influenced him. Yuri’s childhood dream was to be able to compete with Victor on the ice on an equal footing and eventually surpass the Russian. Yuri’s infatuation for Victor prompted him to acquire a poodle similar to Victor’s and name it after him.

After seeing Yuri flawlessly repeat his free skate, ‘Stay Close to Me,’ Victor enters Yuri’s life.
Victor started out as a physical trainer for Yuri, but after witnessing how his emotions affected his skating, he made an attempt to get to know him on a more intimate level. Yuri was first wary of Victor and kept his distance from him, but as time passed, he warmed up to him.

Yuri and Victor’s close relationship resulted into a most heartwarming scene of exchanging rings and they are now presumed engaged.

Touya and Yukito- Cardcapture Sakura

It was only when Clear card came out a few years ago that I learned about these two. Touya and Yukito have had this chemistry for a very long time and all of the girls go crazy with the mention of these two.

Touya and Yukito’s friendship is regularly shown throughout the series. Touya bestows his abilities on Yue in order to save Yukito’s life. Yukito eventually confesses his love for Touya to Sakura after Touya saves his life, referring to Touya as his “number one.”

Due to censorship, all overt references to Yukito’s homosexual relationship with Touya were omitted from the North American Cardcaptors adaptation, which I find disgraceful.

Misaki and Usagi from Junjou Romantica

Misaki meets Akihiko for the first time when he returns home to find Akihiko clinging to Takahiro Takahashi, and Takahiro introduces the two. Misaki goes to Akihiko’s house the next day since aforementioned person was to be his tutor because Misaki had very terrible grades and would not be able to get into the university that Takahiro was going to before their parents’ deaths.

He has difficulty recognizing that he loves Akihiko because of his hesitant character, despite the fact that his actions suggest that he is deeply in love with his caretaker and easily carried away by his whims. Misaki gradually opens up and becomes less shy in their connection throughout the anime/manga.

Ritsuka and Mafuyu from Given

Ritsuka was on his way to his sleeping location when they first saw each other at school.
The nap location, however, had already been claimed by Mafuyu, who was fast sleeping.
Mafuyu gradually awoke and sat up straight, the two of them staring at one other without saying anything. Mafuyu immediately stepped to the side and offered him a seat.
Ritsuka spotted Mafuyu’s broken guitar after exchanging a few words and asked Mafuyu to have it fixed. When Mafuyu realised it may be, he asked Ritsuka to mend the strings before asking him to teach him how to play the guitar.

Their relationship bloomed over the course of the series and took over the top spot for cutest gay couple from the raining champions Yuri and Victor.

Anime Discussion: Relating to Fruits basket on a Personal Level

Please read at your own digression, I am touching on very raw subjects and respect every word written

Thank you)

Here I am re-watching the last season of Fruits Basket in order to brace myself for the final season and actually see the manga’s endings.

We all think of Fruits Basket as a fantastic Supernatural/romance/slice of life anime with fantastic scenes and voice acting in both the sub and dub versions, but as I near the end of Season 2 Episode 10, I find myself relating to Fruits Basket on a personal level in more ways than one.

Unfortunately, as I turn 23 this year, I’m not sure I’ve ever been in love with someone other than my family, so I’m not sure I can relate to characters like Kyo and Tooru or Haru and Rin.
I’m referring to my underlying sense of self-worth, as well as the future I see myself having as the members of the Sohma family, enslaved by the curse that binds them to Akito.

The Past

Growing up in the United Kingdom was certainly not the best childhood one could ask for, but I’m confident that if I had grown up in America and gone through what I have, I would not be the same person I am now.

However, since the main story of Fruits Basket is set in Japan and its cultures, you begin to see the deeper realities about how Japanese children grow up. I believe I did some research after finding that child abuse cases in Japan reached a new high of 194,000 in 2019.

Tooru Honda, the gentle spirit, the spaciest character I’ve ever seen, it all adds to her charm, but what you do get to see in the newer Fruits Basket adaptation is Tooru’s true past and what it was like for her growing up.

Now I bet your all sitting here reading this thinking, Is she trying to say what I think she’s saying, your not half off…

Akito and Yuki

Growing up, both of my parents worked, which meant I was either entrusted to someone else to look after me or I was locked in my room with nowhere to go, knowing that if I asked for support, I would never get it. Looking back, I can’t say all of my accomplishments have been due to my parents’ guidance; instead, it was me getting myself out of the darkness and into the light.

When I was 12, I became a full-time caregiver for my mother, which didn’t bother me because I didn’t have much of a social life, to begin with, but it only got harder when I approached my senior year of high school when my mother could barely walk without a handy cap, my brother brought trouble to our door every day, and my father left without helping us find somewhere else to live before we were evicted from our family home.

Obviously when you leave school in the UK your 16 and sometimes you don’t know what you want to do with your life, When the fruits basket characters were asked to write out career forms for Parents day, Tooru wanted to work straight away, Yuki had no idea, and Kyo knew he’d never get the future he wanted or deserved.

That year, I lost my grandfather, and I’d had no idea what I wanted to be since I was 16. When I was 18, I lost my mother’s cousin, who was very close to me, and she didn’t even get to see me work my tail off by moving away and working for one of the UK’s largest holiday camps.

I recently lost my grandmother’s sister, and before she died, I was able to share with her my life goals, including the desire to collaborate with photographers and produce exhibits, as well as travel the world meeting artists who make my soul tremble.

The Future

Even though I have a life goal, I am still thinking about the past, unable to look forward despite having that goal.

When I watch episodes 14 and 15, my heart breaks as I see the characters contemplate the future and the obstacles they must overcome to get there.

Tooru considers working right after high school, but those who know her know that she did so to help her mother, Kyoko. However, Kyoko is no longer alive, and Tooru has been living for herself, not that she realises it.

She supports everyone around her by making their day by smiling, everyone of the Sohma’s slowly changes by knowing Tooru and knowing something other than the cruel future that awaits them with Akito.

I lived for my mother while I worked as a caregiver for her. When I graduated from high school and began college, I began to develop my own life, complete with a social life, friends, and a hobby. It was difficult to strike a balance between the two, particularly when my health began to deteriorate.

I moved away when I was 18, leaving my mother to fend for herself, and she still doesn’t like it four years later, and I’m still guilty about it. So when I hear Akito talking to Tooru about how their lives belong to him, it brings up so many emotions in me that I feel compelled to confront them. I’ve begun counselling and it’s really helping.

Hearing that my father believes I will fail in life, that I will be a disappointment, and that I will amount to nothing, I honestly believe that is true for the most part, but ever since I’ve started to think differently, just as Yuuki has taken on the position of Student Council president, we’ve both tried, stumbling through days at a time.

As Season 3 approaches, I’m really excited to see things unfold as Shigure likes to say. Even though Fruits basket brings up so many of these feelings I definitely know that the show is bringing out the emotions to make it a fantastic anime.

Thank you for reading!

Anime Discussion: Jujutsu Kaisen

When an anime series comes to an end us anime bloggers/YouTubers go on a frenzy about reviewing a fantastic series like Jujutsu Kaisen.

Me, I thought I’d do something different for my usual review, so here goes, My discussion about The 2020/2021 anime of the year Jujutsu Kaisen.

Rating: 10/10

Episodes: 24

Source: Manga

Premiered: Fall 2020

What did I like about Jujutsu Kaisen?

How much it reminds me of Blue Exorcist

What didn’t I like about Jujustu Kaisen? It was everything I expected in a show and more; it definitely had Ao No Exorcist vibes in terms of Yuuji getting a demon inside of him, while we all know Rin was born a demon due to his father but wanted to become a Jujutsu Sorcerer to save people; he definitely doesn’t have the hot head vibes that Rin Okumara did.

The Main teams Dynamic

The dynamic between the main team Yuuji, Megumi and Nobara was actually quite astonishing, after one mission they became some kind of bond that emerged just as the show came to a close, There are times where you see Nobara and Yuuji teasing megumi and every time It made me laugh.

Satoru Gojo

not only did that make me laugh but Satoru Gojo’s normal attitude gave the show a little bit of light to the dark side but that made me distrust his character even more!

I always wondered why the Tokyo headmaster keeps Gojo around, but hes obviously reliable especially when it came to the fight between him and

The fight scenes

With so many fight scenes I couldn’t pick just one! THERE WERE SO MANY GOOD FIGHTS

Megumi vs Sukuna
Satoru Gojo vs. Jogo
Megumi Fushiguro vs. Aoi Todo
Kento Nanami vs. Mahito
Yuuji vs Mahito
Yuji Itadori vs. Aoi Todo
Yuji Itadori & Aoi Todo vs. Hanami
Megumi Fushiguro vs. Finger Bearer
Yuji Itadori & Nobara Kugisaki vs. Eso & Kechizu

What I didn’t like about it?

I loved both of the opening songs but I’m not keen on the endings.

I liked the school exchange arc because it introduced some interesting characters like Todou and others, but I didn’t feel like it was important to the plot in some way; indeed, the outcomes of that arc weren’t the best for the characters and the story the show was telling; I loved the battles, don’t get me wrong; the team up between Kyoto and Tokyo was defiantly worth the watch.

Even though this show was 24 episodes I felt like a lot of information is missing from what we were told, we have more questions than answers

like I said up top, I loved Jujustu Kaisen, and actually it was the only anime that I watched each week as the others I have saved for my Easter break to watch.

When I finished the last episode on Friday I was pretty disappointed with the ending but only the last part, It wasn’t very anti climatic and it wasn’t what I was suspecting, but with the movie coming out, I don’t really mind, and I have a feeling we will get a season 2.

The Characters

Yuuji voiced by Junya Enoki. Yuuji is a sweetheart, and I admire how serious and caring he is for protecting others, despite the fact that he has been taken over by the cursed spirit Sukuna, played by Junichi Suwabe.

as far as demons go, Sukuna is pretty chill and laid back, right before the fight vs Megumi he actually gives a dam about his predicament until now, even though there fight was short and a lot of stuff happened after that I even don’t think we heard a hide no hare of the demon until at least the last episode.

Yuuji gets a cruel reality check when assisting Nanami Kento with a job outside the academy which I think hurts him and that’s what makes him a fantastic main character, he gets stronger in the service of others.

Megumi voiced by Yuma Uchida. Megumi was the only character I didn’t completely comprehend; he’s cute and seems to be the group’s most level-headed member; from his battle with Sukuna, I thought there was something the anime was hiding from us about him, but when I saw what he could do, I was blown away!

He’s defiantly the most secretive of the bunch.

Nobara voiced by Asami Seto. Nobara is my main girl for this season, she strikes a my heart and that isn’t a pun since he technique involves nails and a hammer.

We meet her after the team is created, and she doesn’t get along with the boys at first, but after one mission they become a great team, and when it came to the season finale battle, she defiantly stole the show from Megumi. She’s cute and defiantly kicks butt, and she’s better at the end than she was at the start, but I guess that’s what we were supposed to think.

Gojo voiced by Yuichi Nakamura.

As much as I adored Gojo, the last episode and the words he said made me rethink trusting him; he is known as a powerful Jujustsu sorcerer, and I swear everyone on the internet should goo goo gaa ga for him! Despite being a teacher at a Tokyo academy, he is very childish and has a very light sense of humor and because of this he is hated for example by The headmaster of the Kyoto school.

Kyoto Students

When we first met the students from the Kyoto school they didn’t make a good impression in terms of picking fights before the exchange event begun and I was so excited to see what other students could do.

Maki, Panda, and Toge are second years at the Tokyo school, and because I knew a little about cursed energy concepts, it wasn’t surprising that a Panda could speak; in fact, it made the school battles much more exciting to watch; they are very dependable upperclassmen to the first years, and even go out of their way to help the first years get stronger.

Its a sign I’ve watched too much anime that nothing surprises me anymore…

Nanami Kento

I’m glad we met other Jujustu Sorcerers because if you’re going to be in a career, you have to know the players. Nanami is a grade 1 sorcerer, just as powerful as Gojo, but he’s the kind of person who does things out of obligation.

If I had to pick between Nanami and Gojo, I would always go with Nanami. Whatever Gojo looks like when he’s not wearing his mask or in regular clothes, there’s something about Nanami that you can’t take your eyes away from.

Mahito and Geto

At this moment in time these two are our main antagonists, Geto seems not to be a cursed spirit like Mahito is and not much is known about him as for Mahito is was very surprising and what he could do.

The results of the exchange arc and the results of the last episode still keeps us guessing about what there end game is, and that just makes us to want to watch more.

What I want to happen in the second season

  • More and better fight scenes
  • answers to questions
  • outside jobs for the students
  • more teams up with the Kyoto students
  • getting to know more Jujustu Sorcerers

Anime Discussion: The Anime Characters I absolutely despise

Recently on Twitter Karandi asked “Is there an anime character you would want to punch” and my first response is Shinji Matou from the fate franchise so here is a list of Anime characters I absolutely despise!

1. Shinji Matou from Fate/Stay night Series

If you haven’t seen Fate/Stay Night, you haven’t seen this little fucker who can do whatever he wants because of his Matou family name, and I’m actually grateful for what happened to him in the end.

Shinji Matou is a high school character in the anime Fate/stay Night, and if you’re familiar with the game, you’ll know that Shinji becomes a master of Rider during the first route of the anime/game, despite the fact that he essentially steals the master position from his sister, who is unable to do magecraft on this side of the plot.

Shinji resents Sakura for being the Matou heir and regularly abuses her, both physically and sexually, in addition to being a total knobhead.

2. Shou Tucker from Fullmetal alchemist

If your an anime fan and you haven’t watched fullmetal alchemist (THEN STOP READING THIS AND GO WATCH πŸ˜‰ )

Shou Tucker also known as the Sewing-Life Alchemist, arrives on the anime around about episode 4 in Brother hood and I don’t think I need to explain why I absolutely hate this guy but if you don’t, This man was psychopathic enough to merge is OWN daughter with her pet dog only get his state license again!

See I don’t really have to explain πŸ˜‰

3. Adam from SK8 Infinity

Recently we got this anime called ‘SK8 Infinity’ and The character called ‘Adam’ came on the screen voiced by the Japanese VA that voiced Dio Brando in JoJo Bizarre adventures and I went, oooh! I’m going to like him!

But then he started insulting some of my favorite characters and he hurt one of my favorite characters and then I wanted to smack him real hard, so atm He’s on my despise list!!

4. Akito Sohma from Fruits Basket

If you’ve ever watched this anime you will know of Akito Sohma, when we got the very first season over 10 years ago so It was nice that we’ve got more screen time with the character and get to know the story a bit more

but now that I’ve watched it I want him… to feel the pain his family did with what he… did to them, out of the Sohma family the ones I want to cry for the most are Rin and Hattori

I honestly don’t think Akito should of got the ending they deserved… its just dam right painful

5. Ragyou Kiryuin from kill la kill

Kill la Kill is a hard anime to get into, nonetheless I have watched all 26 episodes, and when you try world domination through clothing you’ve got to be a mad genius but Ragyou Kiryuin is nothing but pure evil, this woman her cruelty and greed have been exposed as even more heinous, as she has been fondling (and even sexually assaulting) his daughters, as she merely enjoys dominating someone or something.

Needless to say I’m glad she got the punishment she deserved.

Anime Discussion: Celebrating Detective conan’s 1000 episode

January 8th 1996, Detective Conan (cased closed) was released on screen, this anime has celebrated its 25th year just this year! And as of today It has reached its 1000th episode and as an anime community and it has to a very big achievement.

This April detective conan will release its 24th film that I’m so excited to see once it has its subtitles and is released.

Unfortunately with so many episodes, I have probably only watched 20% of this series but what I have watched is all 23 movies already released, and I think that is a real achievement for me πŸ˜‰

If anyone isn’t aware of this show ill give you a little synopsis

Shinichi Kudo (in english he was named Jimmy kudo) is a highschool detective in Tokyo, Japan and when on an non official date with his childhood sweetheart when he sees a deal go down between men in black and goes to investigate. He doesn’t see one of the men’s partner come up behind him and knock him out, to keep him from talking he is forced to take a drug to kill him, instead of killing him it shrinks him back into a little boy.

To keep his identity a secret, he adopts the name Conan Edagawa in relation to his love of sherlock holmes and goes to live with his Childhood sweetheart Mori, Ran (Rachel Moore) and her father, whom is a private detective Mori, Kogoro (Richard Moore).

To find the men in black he basically makes Mori, Kogoro a famous detective and in just a short time makes him The great detective even though he’s a lazy drunk.

Since this isn’t a review of this fantastic anime, I won’t give any more details if you want to go and check it out.

This anime has some very interesting characters such as The detective boys Ayumi (amy), Genta (George), Mitsuhiko (mitch) and later on around 130 episodes Ai joins the gang, and she isn’t all that she seems to be, along with Shinichi’s next door neighbour Professor Agasa.

Next we have the other highschool detective but from Osaka Hattori Heji and his childhood sweetheart Kazuha Tomya and both of their fathers are high ranking police offers in Osaka.

We have the many detectives Kogoro, Ran and Conan meet on their many adventures, my favourites have to be Fumimaro Ayanokoji from the Kyoto police department and Sango Yokomizo from the Shizuoka Police District even though Inspector Yokomizo relies too much on Mori’s reasoning and doesn’t really think for himself as for our main Inspector from the Tokyo department Inspector Megure who used to work with Kogoro Mori gets annoyed when he’s there at the scene and basically solves it for them (he basically calls Mori, Kogoro a Shinigami which translates to a bringer of death).

And with this anime being located in Japan because of the nature of the story we have many agencies (FBI, National Police Agency, CIA and MI6) apart from the storyline and produced some fantastic characters such as Shuichi Akai, Jodie Sterling and Rei Fruya.

But even if we have so many beloved characters there is the organisation who tried to Kill Shinichi who take on the names of alcohol to keep their identities a secret the main ones being Gin and Vodka and a little while later we meet Vermouth (and she’s her own blog just on her own haha)

We even gone through half of the fantastic characters in this show including Kaito Kid a famous thief who even has his own show

There are many different cases Detective conan has gone over the years such as

  • The impossible cases
  • Kidnapping cases
  • Blackmailing cases
  • Locked room murders cases
  • Poisoned people cases
  • Attempted murder cases
  • Kaito Kid cases
  • Dying messages cases

and many, many more

If I was given the choice of my favourite cases? Well they’d have to be…

  • Episode 68-70, The Night Baron case
  • Episode 558-561, The Mansion of Death and the Red Wall
  • Episode Episode 779-783, The Scarlet Return

I already have my favourite 5 films here

My 5 Favourite Detective Conan Movies

When an anime goes as long such as this you wonder if it’s actually wondered if it’s worth it to watch it?

I have only watched 20% of the show already, I feel like I’ve accomplished in understanding this anime and the reasons behind the artist’s idea and how much love he’s put into the characters and the story.

At 1000 episodes you wonder if there is anything else left for this show to give?

We’ll I’m not sure, but I am so excited to find out at the moment the manga is at 1047 chapters so were close to the manga, and we wonder what happens if we catch up before more chapters can be released?

Now that’s something to think about πŸ˜‰

Me here at Art of anime Congradulates everyone who works on this fantastic anime such as voice actors Takayama, Minami who plays conan and Yamaguchi, Kappei who voices Shinichi Kudo (he also voices Ussop in one piece!!). Koyama, Rikiya who took over from voice actor Kamiya, Akira from episode 553 as Mori, Kogoro and Yamazaki, Wakana who voices Ran.

and all of the other voice actors that make this anime great!

The studio TMS Entertainment and the producers Yomiuri Telecasting, Animax, YTV, TMS-Kyokuchi, Shogakukan.

And the creator Gosho Aoyama.

Here’s to the rest of the season!

Anime Discussion: I dont understand the A Certain Magical Index fanchise, but I love it!

In 2007 A certian Magical Index manga came out in Japan, since then it has 25 volumes, 3 seasons of anime a movie and spin off series such as Railgun and Accelerator but why is this franchise so hard to understand you say?

the storyline is so messed up when it comes to the anime!

When you watch the Certian Magical index series that came out first you think, what a fantastic story and it’s so easy to work out, and then a year later the character Misaka got an anime named ‘A Certain Scientific Railgun’ and then you realise that this storyline is before the first season of A Certian Magical Index!

and then thats when all hell breaks loose and let me tell you its whril wind of stuff

this is how you should watch this series if you want the proper storyline

  1. A Certain Scientific Railgun
  2. A Certain Scientific Railgun S
  3. A Certain Magical Index
  4. A Certain Magical Index 2 and A Certain Scientific Railgun T
  5. A Certain Scientific Accelerator
  6. A Certain Magical Index: The Movie – The Miracle of Endymion
  7. A Certain Magical Index III

You look through the list and ask yourself why is A Certain Magical Index 2 and A Certain Scientific Railgun T together?

That’s because they are both in sync with each other from what I gather, it might be too complicated to watch them like Index episode 1 and then episode 1 of Railgun, its just better to watch one series after the other and it just fills in the gaps.

And then once you’re done with them you’re joined by yet another side show for the character Accelerator, not that it has anything to do with the other timeline, its just a great story added onto the other great stories, but you look at the character Accelerator and his small sidekick Last order you realise there also a big part of the show too (I am so in love with the little sister and big brother relationship they develop)

These two are just so adorable!

When I started to watch season 3 of A certain magical index everything started to be rounded up into one season, now it is unclear as of 2021 if we’re going to see another season in this franchise as A Certain Scientific Railgun T finished up just last year and from the list Railgun’s third season happens way back in sync with Index’s second season, it is almost as confusing as the Fate series which is another rant entirely (not ready unload the madness of that just yet…)

Dispite all fairness this franchise is a fantasic piece of art the creator has come up with, I have nothing against this series but if your a newbie and when you finally get to watch this series and your hella confused about how to watch it

And then this discussion I’ve made just by talking to myself (all the best people do πŸ€ͺ ) then just read this or drop a comment down below, and we can discuss together πŸ˜„

Anime Discussion: What I’ve learned from MHA

Why is MHA so popular?

Boku no Hero Acadamia came out on July 7th 2014. 2 years later in Spring 2016 season 1 was released and made by Studio Bones. There are a lot of fans for this specific show whether they’ve come from the manga background and have read it from start to current, or they started when the first season was released and boy does it have a fandom.

When I think about anime it makes me think about why we love anime in the first place and it just takes me back to this video, please watch to continue this

This story obviously follows the young 14-year old boy Izuku Midoriya that doesn’t possess a quirk in a society that evolves around 80% of the earth’s population having one. With most people possessing a quirk, heroes are needed to stop bad people hurting others with their abilities. After nearly being killed by a villan, he is saved by the number one hero, also named ‘The Symbol of peace’ All Might.

All might saves Midoriya, and he asks the number one hero even though he didn’t have a quirk, could he still be a hero, All might says no and shatters his heart, on the way home the same villan attacks his friend and even though powerless Izuku try to save his friend, his bravery is the deciding factor for All Might who tells him that his quick can be passed on to others after intense training to allow him to possess this power Midoriya enrols at UA Highschool to become the next symbol of peace.

Now we’ve got a bit of the summary out of the way and were now 5 years later Boku no Hero has almost 5 seasons and 2 incredible movies even though it isn’t in the top 5 popular list on myAnimeList there is large fandom of people that adore My hero acadamia for many reasons and I wanted to discuss mine.

You can be whatever you want!

What you can always learn from My Hero is you can be whatever you want when you put in the work. I’m 22 years old and I’ve definitely had many different goals in my life and just recently I started down the path I’ve wanted to go down for years I’m currently attending University in the UK and studying in Photography as most of my friends and family know I’ve been a freelancer for about 6 years.

Izuku wanted to become a hero, Shinso wants to become a hero despite his quirk is something that a villan would have, Bakugo wants to become a hero dispite his hot and mean temper.

You can be whatever you want to be.

Never Give up

Never give up on pretty much anything! Izuku never gave up to be a hero, he was told he didn’t have the one thing he needed to become a hero, even though he didn’t possess a quirk and the amount of time Bakugo belittled him he never gave up not once.

I’m never going to give up on anything!

My dreams and my ambitions are what is driving me to my future

Your never done learning

Even at 22 years old I’m still learning. I’m learning that it’s never too late to go to University, I’m still learning how to be the best kind of photographer I can be. When Izuku needs to learn anew technique, and he sought out Gran Torino, but he also learned from Sir Nighteye and in the end changed destiny.

Push past your limits and go ‘PLUS ULTRA!!”

Even when things seem hopeless and you just want to crawl into a ball and cry, there is always a way to switch things around, when you come up against a wall and push past your limits and go
